The site includes a large vehicle display building, housing more than 80 cars and more than 10 motorcycles along with all types of memorabilia. Next to the museum building is Stanley’s Barn Restaurant & Bar that has been built from recycled timbers, including enormous Oregan trusses that are more than 105 years old. When visiting the restaurant, you will feel that you have stepped back in time as it is loaded with memorabilia and unmatched character that you won’t find in any other restaurant. Stanley’s Barn has a magnificent menu and high quality well priced meals.
The Gold Coast Motor Museum is no ordinary motor museum. There’s sentimentality behind the displays – and it’s not all wrapped up in the historic automobiles.
Carl Amor devoted himself to building the impressive space as a tribute to their father.
Carl’s father passed away when Carl was just 16. His Dad had a vintage car collection had always wanted to build a car museum. He was 42 when he died and these cars where unfortunately sold so that never happened. This is a legacy for Mum and Dad. Carl is proud to have been able to make it happen.
